Michael served 7+ years as general counsel for a group of heavily regulated consumer finance companies, providing risk management and regulatory oversight, ensuring compliance with AML-Patriot Act, Dodd-Frank, Gramm-Leach-Bliley, TILA-Reg Z, Reg E, Reg A, TCPA, privacy, data security, vendor management, fraud protection, FDCPA, and FCRA. Duties included management of business and civil litigation, regulatory actions, consumer rights complaints, demands, and claims against clients or affiliated parties.
