• Physician Assistant received complaint alleging unprofessional conduct and falsification of prescriptions.

In this matter our client was accused by his delegating physician that he gave class IV narcotics to a patient without authorization. Furthermore, he was accused of not documenting the prescriptions in the records either. In our investigation into the matter we obtained all of the prescription records for the patient, the medical records and all of the facility's internal records and discovered that the physician was setting up our client to terminate his employment improperly. First, we defected the facility's objection to our client's IDES benefits at a hearing and then we were able to close his complaint after appearing in front of the Illinois Medical Board
