Roofer was accused of extending his license to an unlicensed individual to use it to perform work

In this matter our client received a notice of informal conference because a complaint was made to IDFPR that he allowed an unlicensed roofer to use his license to obtain permits for residential construction jobs near Paris, Illinois. In meeting with the roofing Board, we were able to convince the Board not to seek disciplinary action and agreed to a non-disciplinary order based on mitigating circumstances we were able to present. Other similar cases have been resulting in disciplines and large fines. Not ours.
