Registered nurse was given a ten (10) year suspension and was seeking to restore her license only six (6) years into the suspension term.

In this matter our client was previously suspended by the IDFPR after a hearing for a period of ten (10) years for various substance abuse violations and for allegedly falsifying documentation from IDFPR to obtain a job and for a history of disciplines in the past. She came to us with an objective of restoring her license only six (6) years into her ten (10) year suspension term. Our firm filed a Petition to Restore on her behalf and not only encouraged the nursing Board to hear our case but convinced it to allow her to be restored immediately to unrestricted status. This was obviously one of our best nursing accomplishments.
