Registered Nurse was accused of alleged “gross negligence” in the care and treatment of a patient resulting in death.
In this matter, we were able to do our own investigation and determine that our client was not the only provider for the patient. In fact, we were able to “isolate” our client’s care for the patient in effort to establish that her continued care was within the standard of care despite the patient’s unfortunate outcome. Our client received an administrative warning letter, which is not a public discipline.
