A twenty-seven (27) count formal complaint was filed against our client who is a managing broker of a well established agency in the quad cities. The allegations included that she and other brokers failed to disclose that the agency was dealing in dual agency contracts. The complaint alleged that the agency entered into contracts for certain properties and failed to disclose license status and ownership interest in writing when purchasing. Our firm was able to help the managing broker and the agency receive a non-disciplinary order prior to the formal hearing.
