Physician was given a Notice of Intent to deny her license based on past mental evaluations required during her residency.

In this matter IDFPR attempted to deny our client a physician license because she did not complete her USMLE steps within seven years. Furthermore it was hoped in her residency that she was required to have an evaluation in her past. Our firm applied for a variance to the rules and and had our client obtain an updated mental evaluation. After appearing in front of the licensing board we were able to get an unrestricted license.
