Cease and Desist Order

In this case our client owned an Asian Bodywork and Reflexology business and was ordered by the IDFPR to cease and desist its practice based on allegedly having unlicensed practitioners. Our firm requested a hearing and was able to establish that the business fell under the 225 ILCS 57/25 Exemption allowing for unlicensed practitioners. In doing so we established an organization that allowed the business to fall under the exemption.
